My 1993 Ford F150 needs a tune-up.
Hi Steve,I want to give my truck a good tune-up, but would like to do it myself, the shops around here are either too expensive or not very reliable, could you please explain to me what Ineed to do, I would appreciate it very much.

Hi John,
This is a great question John, I think I can help you with this. You can
do either a minor tune-up or a major tune-up, I will explain what is involved
with both.
A minor tune-up consist of changing the spark plugs, check and set the ignition
timing and replace the air filter.
If you what to do a major tune-up you will do all of the above plus, replace
the spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, fuel filter and clean the
throttle body.
All of these things can be done at home yourself an this will save you lots
of $$$, all of these parts can be bought at your locate parts store or even
wal-mart if you have one close. These parts can also be purchased online
