Fuel Brands - Which one is better?
So, is one brand of fuel better than the other? Do you want to go to a "NO NAME" station because the price is lower but your afraid the fuel is not as good as the name brand? What most people don't know is that it usually does not matter. Most major brands of fuel are coming from the same refineries and the process of refining fuel is the same throughout.
Most quickmart and No Name stations are selling name brand fuels like "Citgo", "BP", "Exxon" and others. These are all good fuel and one is no better than the other.

Follow these few simple steps and shop where the fuel is cheaper!
1. Choose a station where the pumps are up to date, in proper working order and clean.
2. Choose a station that does a high volume of fuel sales. Make sure there is plenty of vehicles refueling there daily. This will ensure the fuel is always fresh and there will be a less chance of unwanted contaminants in the fuel such as water and debris.
3. Try to avoid refueling when they are filling the tanks at the station; when they fill the tanks it stirs the fuel in the tank, this causes the dirt and debris from the bottom of the tank to mix in the fuel and it can end up in your tank.
